Building production sites with Industry 4.0
I support the build-up of new production and assembly lines – from concept development to successful commissioning.
Using digital twins, I plan and optimise production layouts as well as material and logistics flows. In doing so, I compare technical and economic alternatives to realise the most efficient solution.
On request, I integrate Industry 4.0 solutions with control computers, MES and automated material-flow systems. I have successfully delivered such projects in international production and assembly plants.

Production technology
Particularly in glass and ceramics processing, I bring sound experience in manufacturing and machining.
Through my long-standing work in ultra-precision engineering, I have in-depth know-how in producing optical components and in the machining processes this requires, such as precision grinding and polishing.
This combination of materials competence, manufacturing experience and technological expertise enables me to deliver even demanding development and production projects efficiently and pragmatically.

Process technology through to market success
I support companies in introducing new production technologies into series products – from the first technology assessment to stable series production.
My experience covers, among others, laser machining, the production of gears, ultra-precision parts, glass and ceramics processing and ultrasonic machining.
I accompany the entire process and technology development, including the selection of suitable machines and equipment.

Implementing transformation processes
Companies are in constant change – I help to adapt structures deliberately to these changes and optimise them sustainably.
I analyse cost structures along the entire value chain and identify potential. The focus is on efficiency, transparency and improved results.
Based on my international experience, I assess strategic options such as outsourcing approaches and make-or-buy decisions and compare them on a technical and economic basis.

Supporting M&A projects
I support M&A projects with a focus on the industrial reality behind the numbers. At the centre is technical and operational due diligence in an international setting – from production systems and manufacturing processes to the real scalability of organisations.
In addition, I create production and industrialisation plans for new products as well as robust break-even analyses. This makes it clear early on which investments are necessary and whether business models are economically viable.
I combine operational mid-market experience with technical depth and thus deliver clear, actionable decision bases for acquisition, integration or investment decisions.
